A native New Yorker, now based in Brooklyn, Thomas Paul graduated from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in textile design. As a colorist and designer for a silk mill specializing in neckwear and scarves, Thomas Paul worked on neckwear collections for such designers as Bill Blass, Calvin Klein and DKNY.

This eventually led to the creation of his own neckwear
collection in the late 90’s. From this was born the thomaspaul
pillow collection, launched in 2001, as a way to use the
capabilities of the silk printing mill for home accessories.
Since then the line has steadily expanded into other categories with the ultimate goal of having products for every aspect of home décor.

Thomas Paul says, “This new canvas collection responds to the requests from many retailers for wall décor featuring my designs. A lot of retailers have used plates from the melamine collection and hung them on the wall for decorative purposes."
